Join us for an exciting evening of fun, laughter, and learning at our Indoor Pickleball Play & Learn event!

No experience? No problem! Whether you've never picked up a paddle or you're just looking to have a blast, this event is for you. All you need is a pair of non-marking sneakers (to keep the courts and your knees in tip-top shape) and a spirit ready for some social fun. If you have paddles, feel free to bring them along.

Event schedule:

30-minute Introduction: Get checked in to the facilty, learn the basics of pickleball and get ready to play!

1 Hour of Court Time: Get on the court with 6 players per court - 4 will play while 2 observe, learn & rotate in every few minutes.

30-Minute Decompress & Social Time: Wind down at the onsite restaurant & bar, where you can refuel, hydrate, and be social!

This is all about having a good time, making friends, and enjoying the game. So come prepared to laugh, learn, and maybe even discover your new favorite sport!

Join us for an exciting evening of Mahjong, where players of all skill levles are invited to come together for fun, laughter, and friendly competition! Please bring $5 to play!

Whether you're a seasoned pro or a curious beginner, this event is designed to foster a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can learn, play and enjoy the timeless game of Mahjong.

Game plan
Each attendee needs to bring $5 cash to play.

$1 per game: Each player will contribute a dollar for every game we play. Don't worry; the winner gets to keep their dollar!

$3 per game for Wright to Read: The remaining $3 from each game will go into our collection jar. At the end of the year, we'll donate these funds to Wright to Read which has been providing services in the city of Alexandria for over 45 years. Wright to Read recruits, trains, and supports volunteer tutor-mentors who support elementary-aged children enrolled in ACPS who have been identified as needing additional support in reading. Per usual book club nights, attendees are also asked to please bring one of the following:

Whether you're a foodie or just curious about this versatile ingredient, this event promises to be both informative and delicious.

• Taste a variety of balsamic vinegars, including:
• Typical (Grocery Store)
• 6 year IGP (Modena region certified)
• 12 year DOP (the REAL deal)
• 25 year DOP (the ULTIMATE real deal)
• 2 Specialty balsamics – 1 sweet (pear) and 1 savory (truffle)
• Enjoy an assortment of foods and wines paired perfectly to highlight the delightful flavors of balsamic, such as:
• Caprese salad
• Bruschetta
• Risotto
• Balsamic glazed chicken & vegetables
• Dates stuffed with goat cheese and drizzled with balsamic
