Hello all! Come and join us for a walk down the Water of Leith; going from Slateford to Edinburgh Botanics Gardens. It’s a great opportunity to walk through the many different parts of Edinburgh whilst enjoying the nature you’ll find along the riverbank.

Start point: Water of Leith Visitor Centre and Cafe, 24 Lanark Rd, Edinburgh EH14 1TQ
Time: 13:00
Get there by your own means (Nearest bus stop: Water of Leith Centre Stop or Allan Park Road Stop)

The walk will be done at a leisurely pace, and will be allow walkers of all abilities to participate. Please feel free to bring pets along if you think they will be able to do the walk.

The event will be open to allow, and people will be free to chat, enjoy the open air, and get some good exercise. You can also bring cameras along to allow you to capture the moment.

Make sure you bring appropriate shoes along, as well as clothing appropriate for the weather (check the weather forecast before you come along). Bringing snacks and drinks is recommended, thoigh we will probably stop at points to grab things.

This trip will be great for all; this includes first time visitors and regulars :)
