About us
We want to bring together people who have moved to Edinburgh, or live in Edinburgh and who want to socialize and make new friends
Our group is a broad mix of students, working professionals, locals and expats from a diverse mix of both cultural and ethnic backgrounds. We are a nice bunch of people who simply enjoy coming together to socialize and have fun! So come along and meet people in your area.
We want to create a wide variety of events that caters for everyone. We organise events such as eat outing, cinema nights, pub nights, comedy night, social walks.
We reserve the right to remove people from the group who do not attend or treat others with respect.
People without a profile picture will not be admitted to the group.

CRAMOND TO SOUTH QUEENSFERRY (Option of Sunday Roast Afterwards)
Johnnie Walker Princes Street, 145 Princes St, Edinburgh EH2 4BL, Edinburgh, GBJoin us for a lovely coastal walk from Cramond Beach to South Queensferry, followed by a lovely Sunday roast meal for those who wish to eat.
The walk is very pleasant with beautiful scenery, including coastline and lovely parkland. It is not at all demanding, approximately 5 miles, and should take about 2.5 to 3 hours. We will stop for a pub break along the way.Feel free to bring snacks and something to eat.
We will take the number 43 bus at 13:42 from Queensferry Street (Stop QE), and the journey should take approximately 27 minutes, arriving at Cramond around 14:04. Please meet outside Johnnie Walker on Princes Street (EH2 4BL) at around 13:20.
There are regular trains and buses from South Queensferry back to Edinburgh. Animals are very welcome on the walk. Please observe park rules, etc.
Regarding the weather, this is Scotland, and anything can happen—please dress accordingly.
The Hawes Inn does a great Sunday roast.
There is a £10 deposit for the meal that will be refunded at the resturant.

We do not employ qualified guides, leaders or first aiders on any of our events. The group works on the same basis of being a group of friends who go out walking together, who invite others to join them on this basis. Event organisers and event hosts assume no responsibility for anyone attending any group event. The Group, group organisers, event organisers and event hosts will not be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss occurring as a result of any Group event or in connection with travel to such event, however caused.
When you join a walk or other event, you indicate that you accept these conditions and accept that no legal liability is accepted by the group, group organisers, event organisers or event hosts in the event of accident or injury, however caused.
Participants in Group events are reminded that outdoor activities frequently need specialist equipment (boots, waterproofs, etc) and the group does not provide these. Participants are responsible for assessing their own risk, the safety of themselves and their guests and the suitability of any equipment used. Any Medical Conditions that may affect the participants during the walk should be notified to the walk leader prior to the start of the walk.
While accepting no responsibility or liability, for walks and other outdoor events, the event host or walk leader may, at their discretion, not admit you to join the walk or other event if in their opinion you are ill-equipped for the terrain and weather conditions.
Dogs are usually allowed on walks, but this is entirely at the discretion of the walk leader- please see the individual event details or contact the walk leader- dogs must be kept under close control at all times and on a lead where necessary or requested by the walk leader.20 attendees
