Ansteys Hill
Details
Meet at the Boomgate (Gate 1), in the laneway behind The Ruby Raja Restaurant, diagonally across the road from the TTG Hotel bottleshop for an 8.30am Start.
This will be a HARD HIKE that will be approximately 15 kms / 3.5 - 4 hours and include no less than 4 steep hill climbs although there is also considerable flat ground in between.
We will be hiking right across to the far Southern boundary of the park and beyond, taking in spectacular views that include a magnificent Blue Lake and the Black Hill quarry. We then loop back past the old Newman's Nursery Ruins & up Torture Hill track.
Bring water, sunscreen, shoes with good grip & dress appropriately for the weather.
Lunch afterwards at a venue to be determined for those that are interested.
