Bitcoin Sydney is the premier meetup for Bitcoin content, education and well qualified, knowledgeable speakers. That is because we only do Bitcoin and those that know Bitcoin best know enough not to waste time on other "blockchains" or "cryptos".

MILES SUTER - working at Cash App, Miles is a long time Bitcoiner and is passionate about bitcoin and economic freedom. Miles will be providing an update on BTCPayServer.

HASS MCCOOK - Bitcoin Evangelist and mining analyst
Hass is a Civil Engineer by trade who has been independently researching and writing about Bitcoin since 2013 after completing is MBA at Oxford. His areas of focus are Bitcoin Mining, as well as the "spiritual side" of Bitcoin. He has presented at international Bitcoin conferences and written numerous articles on these topics for various online publications. His work on the economics and game theory of Bitcoin mining has received widespread acclaim.

Stephan has recently returned from the Berlin Lightning world conference where as an MC of the event, he was exposed to the latest advances from both the Lightning protocol developers themselves, as well as the many others that are building out the technology within this burgeoning second-layer ecosystem. In this part of the evening Stephan will share these highlights with us as well as run through some of the newer phone wallets that are making small payments a breeze.

8.00pm: Hass McCook
There are a surprising number of parallels between traditional religion and many aspects of Bitcoin history and culture. Hass McCook, affectionately known in the community as Friar Hass, will take us on an amusing and informative look at them in what we believe to be a world first - a Bitcoin sermon!

8.30pm onwards: Q&A, networking, discussion, drinks!
