📍 Location: Queens Park and surrounds, Toowoomba

Join us for a colourful and creative day out capturing the stunning floral displays and festive atmosphere at the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers. Whether you’re into macro, landscape, candid, or phone photography, this is a great opportunity to explore, practice, and connect with fellow photo lovers!

Meetup Details:
• We’ll be on-site from around 10:30 AM – come and go as you please
• Group photo at 10:45 AM near the main floral display – let’s kick off the day together!
• Wander the gardens, exhibitions, and lively parkland entertainment at your own pace or in small groups
• Optional break around 12:00 PM – join us for a casual lunch (self-purchase) to chat, share shots, and compare notes about the morning’s captures
• All experience levels welcome

📷 Recommended Lenses:
• Macro lens – perfect for capturing close-up floral details
• Wide-angle lens – ideal for garden landscapes and scenic views
• Zoom/telephoto – useful for candid crowd shots or isolating features
• Mobile phone cameras also welcome – clip-on lenses optional

🌆 Optional Twilight Tour (Self-Purchase):
Cap off the day with a magical Twilight Tour through the gardens:
• Time: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
• Cost: $15 per person
• Tickets: Book online via the Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers website

What to Bring:
• Camera or phone
• Spare batteries and memory cards
• Preferred lenses (macro, wide, zoom)
• Tripod (recommended for twilight session)
• Comfortable shoes, hat, sunscreen, water
