Participants create symbolic necklaces and/or small wall hangings using fabric scraps, threads, buttons, beads, lace, and found notions—each piece becoming a tactile story of movement, repair, and becoming.

  • Explore choice, agency, repair, and continuity
  • Externalise inner narratives through hands-on making
  • Support regulation through rhythmic, repetitive stitching
  • Create meaning through symbolic assemblage

  • Experience sewing and threading as grounding, regulating practices
  • Reflect on life paths, crossroads, and moments of mending
  • Create a personal talisman (necklace or hanging) representing their journey
  • Strengthen self-compassion through visible imperfection and repair
