Melbourne Symphony Orchestra - Free Event @ Sidney Myer Music Bowl 

Join me to experience '50 Years of ABC Classic' a performance described as a 'musical love letter' to ABC Classic radio, celebrating 50 years of classical music on our national airways.
We will find a spot on the lawn to take in the symphony, and you can byo drinks or snacks for a picnic or grab something delicious from the food trucks available.

The program begins at 5.30pm with a curtain raiser by the Melbourne Youth Orchestra. Then at 7.30pm the concert begins, and the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra will be performing all-Australian works from composers and artists that will take us to all parts of our Country.

This concert is free and no tickets are required.

4.45pm: We will meet at Walker Fountain Kings domain, on St Kilda Rd near tram stop 17
5pm: We will walk to Sidney Myer Music bowl Gate 1
5.30pm: Curtain raiser by Melbourne Youth Orchestra
7:30pm: Show begins, and concludes at 9:30pm
