This month's talks are:
**Getting Started with GraphQL through Gatsby.js**
Bianca Power
Gatsby.js is a popular React-based static site generator that uses GraphQL to manage complex data. In this talk we'll look at how working with Gatsby can be a great way to get familiar with GraphQL, and do some live exploration of GraphQL queries in a simple Gatsby site.
How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Low-Code
Lyndon Maydwell
In this talk I'll describe a database-first approach to application design that greatly increases frontend velocity and puts business-logic back in the driver's seat.
GraphQL Sydney is made possible by our sponsors:
- Alembic - Food, drinks, meetup organisation/management
- Microsoft Reactor - Venue and AV equipment
Alembic are passionate about GraphQL and building great web tech. If you, or someone you know, has any development projects that need expertise, whether starting fresh, or extending an existing one, please get in touch!
If not updated on the meetup page, you can find our scheduled list of speakers on our GitHub repo issues page. This is also the place where we'd love you to submit a talk of your own to teach us all about what you've been doing with GraphQL!
Hope to see you (either in-person or virtually) at the next meetup!
