It's the beginning of a new year and many of you will have taken the holidays to think about potential changes you may wish to make.
At this month's Product Mavens meetup, hear about career journeys from a panel of experts who are currently product managers, or have moved into new roles.
Because the knowledge and skills of product managers is both wide and focused and it crosses both IT and the business, we will present the Product Mavens audience with a range of different panelists who will share their journeys and answer your questions.
Panelists:
Pratibha Gannvarapu - Pratibha is a not your common product manager and she will prove that coming from a technical background brings unique insights. Today Pratibha has her own startup, but she started as a PHP developer, was a program manager at Yahoo!7 and a product owner at News Corp.
Ben Drayton - From business development, recruitment, training and development, then onto product management, product owner and UX, Ben also 'speaks fluent Agile'. Currently at UBank, his experience has crossed a number of industry verticals.
David Soul - Fresh off the plane from San Francisco, David will share his experiences from when he started as a java dev and being one of the early Atlassian employees as a sales engineer, to product strategy at Pollenizer, becoming a co-founder and then moving to the US to manage products and growth at Optimizely and Pivotal.
Lena Zak - Radio presenting, a reporter, drama instructing and a television panelist prepared Lena for her editorial roles in the online world. She then entrenched herself in production and product management at Yahoo!7 , before moving to Bauer Media and her current role as Head of Product for the Australian Financial Review at Fairfax.
We look forward to seeing you there.
