Get ready to capture the night sky! The annual Astrophotography Workshop, hosted by the Mornington Peninsula Astronomical Society, is back with all-new and updated content.
What to Expect:
This year's workshop will cover a wide range of exciting topics, including:
- Aurora and Nightscape Imaging
- Smartphone Astrophotography
- Deep Sky Imaging
- And much more!
Whether you're a seasoned photographer looking to master nightscape images or a beginner keen to try your hand at capturing auroras or creating timelapses, this workshop offers valuable insights for all astrophotographers.
Date and Time:
The workshop is tentatively scheduled for September 13th or 20th, running from 12:30 PM to 11:00 PM. The exact date will be confirmed during the first week of July, so keep an eye out for updates!

The event is held at Mornington Peninsula Astronomical Society MPAS, The Briars, Mount Martha VIC 3934
Registration:
Book your spot online via the Trybooking link (to be provided soon). The cost is $75 (this is 2024 price and may be subject to change) and includes a delicious pizza dinner and a practical imaging session (weather permitting).
