Ever imagined making your own cheese… straight from a mountain goat’s milk? 🐐
We’re heading to the picturesque white village of Casares for a full-day immersive adventure. This experience isn’t about just observing — it’s about getting your hands into it! After a scenic morning hike through the Sierra Crestellina, we’ll enjoy a local lunch and then step into the world of cheesemaking at a family-run, ecological cheesery — active for nearly 100 years!
You’ll meet the native Payoya goats, learn the art of crafting cheese by hand, and even make your own to take home. Add a cheese & wine tasting from Ronda, good company, and mountain views — and you’ve got the perfect full-day escape where nature meets creativity! 🌞

🅿️ Look for a parking spot in the village along the MA-800 road.
🚩 Difficulty: Easy
📏 Distance: ∼9 km
⛰️ Total ascent: ∼450 meters

Plan:
🕘 09:30–13:30 – Hike in Sierra Crestellina
🍽️ 13:30–14:30 – Visit Casares & lunch (optional)
🧀 15:00–17:00 – Cheesemaking visit & workshop & tasting
