Expedition Segaria : Cima de Segaria

Join us for an exciting hike up Cima Segaria, near El Vergel. This circular trail combines stunning coastal views, rugged terrain, and a fascinating walk through an old aqueduct carved into the mountainside. The summit rewards us with panoramic views across the coast and inland valleys.
Although the route is classed as moderate, a reasonable level of fitness and good footing are required. Segaria may be a small mountain, but she should not be taken lightly — she’ll always leave a mark or two on you! The south side of the mountain is fairly easy-going, but the north face can be damp, slippery, and overgrown in places. The final approach to the summit involves a short grade 1 scramble, made trickier by the soft, brittle limestone and foot-sized holes scattered across the path.

Esta ruta circular combina impresionantes vistas de la costa, terreno rocoso y un fascinante paseo por un antiguo acueducto tallado en la montaña. Aunque la ruta se considera moderada, se necesita un nivel razonable de forma física y buena estabilidad. Segaria puede ser una montaña pequeña, pero no debe subestimarse — siempre deja su huella en quien la camina. El lado sur es bastante fácil, pero el lado norte puede estar húmedo, resbaladizo y con vegetación abundante. La subida final a la cima incluye una trepada de grado 1, un poco más complicada debido a la roca caliza blanda y quebradiza y los agujeros del tamaño del pie que cubren el terreno.
