Afternoon Beach Walk-Brighton Beach to Elwood Beach @ Coffee at Beach House Cafe

Join me for an afternoon walk along the stunning Coastal Bay Trail from Brighton Beach to Elwood and back, stopping for a coffee at the Beach House Cafe along the way. This section of the Bay Trail features long stretches of sand, beautiful native vegetation and gorgeous views of the bay and the city in the distance. It includes the Dendy Street Beach which is the home of the iconic brightly coloured bathing boxes. The walking distance will be 7km and take around 1hour 45minutes.

Location
Brighton Beach is located approximately 11km South East of Melbourne's city centre. The Brighton Beach Train Station is on the Sandringham line and the travel time from the city is 25 minutes.
There is free parking at the Brighton Beach Train Station on South Road which is directly across the road from the meeting spot at Green Point.

Agenda

• We will meet at the War Memorial in Brighton Beach Gardens - Green Point at 2.30pm
• From there we will walk along the Bay Trail up to Elwood and back, stopping for a coffee on the way.
• We will arrive back at Brighton Beach Gardens by 5.00pm
