Bay Trail Walk - Middle Park Beach to Elwood Beach + Coffee

Join me for a beach walk down the beautiful Bay Trail. We will walk from Middle Park Beach, over Ormond Point Lookout and on to Elwood Beach for a coffee or snack from Elwood Beach Shack.
This is a stunning beach walk with views across the city and bay. Our walk will be approximately 8km, and is around 1 hour each way.
This walk is rated easy to moderate, it is relatively flat with well maintained trails suitable for most people with a reasonable level of fitness, and we will walk at a moderate pace.

Agenda:

We will meet at 1pm at Middle Park Beach, near the picnic tables on the Bay Trail. There is a map, and a photo in the gallery.
We will head off at 1.15pm, and reach Elwood Beach by 2.15pm.
We will stop for a coffee, snack or a paddle and then return to Middle Park Beach by 4pm.

If you are travelling via public transport, you can take Tram 12 from Collins St in the CBD and get off at Armstrong St, stop 138, in Middle Park.
Walk down Armstrong St towards the water, and the meeting spot is directly across Beaconsfield Parade. The journey is around 20 mins from the CBD.
