We organise a wide variety of events, including:

This group is about friendship, fun, and inclusion. All members are encouraged to suggest ideas and help with organising or hosting events to share the load.
⚠️ We need more members to get involved in hosting/suggesting events. This helps keep things fresh and fun!

✅ Membership Requirements
• Women aged 40–70 at the time of joining.
(Existing members can remain after 70.)
• From 2026, only Worcestershire residents can join.
(Current members from other areas may stay.)
• Profile photo must be of yourself + full first or last name (no nicknames).
• Must be able to communicate online, add yourself to Events and make payments.
• Attend 2–3 events every 6 months.
• Be responsive to messages about events and meet payment/deadline requirements. Members will be removed from events if these are not met.

📚 Book Club Info
We currently run two book clubs:
1. First Edition Book Club (Closed Group) – Contact Alison or Jane to join.
Members must attend at least 6 of 12 monthly meetings.
2. The Next Chapter – Contact the relevant host to join.

💰 Membership Fee
• First 30 days are free to see if the group is for you.
• Membership is £10 per year, due in January or upon joining.
• If joining after October 1st, the fee is £2.50.
• All fees are non-refundable.
• Funds go toward Meetup costs & Fab40 Social Fund (used for anniversary/Christmas events).

⚠️ Important Event Guidelines
• All deposits/payments are non-refundable unless your place is filled.
• If you reserve a place and cannot attend, you are responsible for gifting/selling your ticket. You may post on our Facebook group to find a replacement.
• Organisers/hosts do not receive payment and are not responsible for managing your bookings or tickets.
• After 3 no-shows without notification, members will be removed from the group.
• Some events may have waiting lists.

🐾 Dog-Friendly Policy
• Well-behaved dogs are welcome at outdoor events and some indoor venues (check with the host).
• If you are uncomfortable with dogs, notify the host in advance.
• Dog owners must be respectful, especially around food/drink.

❤️ Respect & Safety
• Treat all members with respect and kindness.
• Inappropriate posts on Facebook will be removed by organisers.
• We are a women-only group.
• You may bring a guest (female over 40) if interested in joining – but check with the host first.
• Members attend events at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and transport/access needs.
