Explore the historical journey of Dunlawton Sugar Mill Plantation in Port Orange, predating Florida's statehood. Transitioning from Spanish rule to the remnants of a sugar mill, evolving into an amusement park, and finally blossoming into today's enchanting botanical gardens, a meandering gravel path invites you to walk this 10-acre park. Join us on a stroll through time. Plenty of parking is in the lot across from the park. Admission is free. Remember to bring water and wear suitable footwear—no sandals or open-toed shoes, please. We are partnering with the Florida Master Naturalist Program Volusia County Friends Group for this event.
