About us
Intentional challenge. Calm strength. Grit that’s built, not forced.
Fierce Planet Adventures is a community-based outdoor adventure Meetup for people who want more than casual walks or race-paced hikes. We gather to move through natural environments with purpose—using thoughtfully structured outdoor experiences to build stamina, resilience, presence, and real-world grit over time.
Our core offerings include group hikes, weighted hikes, and scenic mindfulness-focused walks. Events are designed with clear pacing, progressive challenge, and realistic expectations so participants can self-assess, show up prepared, and move well as a group. Some outings are physically demanding; others are deliberately slower and more reflective. All are grounded in competence, personal responsibility, and respect for the environment and each other.
What makes Fierce Planet Adventures different is how we approach challenge. We’re not here to chase speed or suffer needlessly. We emphasize steady effort, sound decision-making, situational awareness, and learning how to stay present under effort. Over time, that’s how grit is built—through intentional struggle, good pacing, and showing up again when it would be easier not to.
Mindset and resilience elements are sometimes woven into events in simple, practical ways—brief reflections, awareness cues, or moments of intentional pacing—always tied directly to the activity at hand. Nothing is preachy. Nothing is sales-oriented. Participation is optional, and no prior experience with mindfulness or coaching is required.
This is a co-ed group welcoming moderately fit adults, beginner to intermediate hikers, and growth-oriented individuals who value self-responsibility and group pacing. Each event listing clearly outlines distance, pace, elevation, and gear considerations so participants can make informed choices.
Fierce Planet Adventures is not a thrill-seeking group, a therapy space, or a guided expedition service. It is a place for people who want meaningful time outdoors, a capable and grounded community, and challenges that are introduced intentionally and built progressively.
If you’re looking for an outdoor adventure Meetup where the pace is steady, the tone is calm, and the experience leaves you stronger, steadier, and more capable than when you arrived, you’ll fit right in.
