## ABOUT THIS EVENT

This is a standalone weighted hike hosted by Fierce Planet Adventures. Each hike is designed to build physical stamina, mental resilience, and confidence carrying a light pack over varied terrain.
While these hikes follow a progressive arc, you may attend any individual event. This is not a race, boot camp, or selection event. The focus is steady movement, smart pacing, and finishing strong as a group.

## WHO THIS IS FOR

  • Beginner to early-intermediate hikers and ruckers
  • People new to weighted hiking who want structure and guidance
  • Those seeking challenge without chaos

Not for: trail runners, speed hikers, or anyone unwilling to move at a group pace or follow safety guidance.

## DISTANCE, PACE & TIME

  • 4–5 miles
  • Average pace ~2–2.5 mph
  • Planned breaks for hydration, regrouping, and light coaching
  • Total time includes buffer for stops and group management

## PACK WEIGHT GUIDANCE

This is a weighted hike.

  • ~5 lbs non-consumable weight
  • Does not include water, food, or essential gear

Examples of non-consumable weight:

  • 5-lb weight plate or dumbbell
  • Sand or gravel in a secure stuff sack
  • Commercial ruck plate

Safe loading and carry methods will be reviewed at the start.
