Join Licia for January’s Wild Women full moon walk. January’s moon, known by some as the Wolf Moon, refers to the sound of hungry wolves howling in the night.

Though they won’t be hungry, we might be lucky to hear the wolves howling thanks to our partners at Wolf Haven International welcoming us to their wolf sanctuary for this outing!

We’ll start by discussing the other local names for the January moon and meander through the now-rare oak prairie as we chat and get to know each other. Then, we’ll be joined by someone from Wolf Haven to learn more about the history of wolves in our area and their efforts to conserve wolf habitats and populations. We’ll even spend a quiet stretch walking through the wolf santuary to meet their current wolf residents!

This outing is free with a $25 suggested donation to Wolf Haven to support their work and our visit to the sanctuary. RSVP is required
