Econ River, SR 419-> Snow Hill Rd

Meet 9:15 am to take boats down, shuttle at 9:45.
The morning of Super Bowl Sunday, we'll paddle an 8 mile trip on the Econlockhatchee River from SR 419 in Oviedo to Snow Hill Rd in Chuluota. We'll be shuttling our cars to the takeout before we start paddling.
This undeveloped smallish river is tannin-colored with white sand bottom and occasional sand bars along the side, and is a favorite for some. The water level will probably be low and there could be one or two downed trees to go under or around (usually pretty easy).
Bring lunch, whistle, extra clothes, etc.

Meeting place = Little Big Econ Canoe Launch, at intersection of SR 419 & Willingham Rd (for some reason, different addresses seem to work on google - 3799 or 3801 Willingham Rd, and also 330 Willingham Rd Oviedo)

Meeting Time = 9:15 am, shuttle cars to end at 9:45 am.

(PS – this is the Econ River, not “Little” Econ which is quite different).

If you're looking for nearby camping - Lake Mills Park (a Seminole Co. park) has a non-electric campground with so so bathrooms.
