National Trails Day Hike

Details
Now for something a bit different. We are combining two events for this Activity listing: The first will continue to be as planned for, a Nokuse hike. We will meet in the parking lot where J W Hollington road intersects with the trail head for the FNST. Come out and enjoy a scenic hike in the Nokuse Land Conservancy along the Lafayette creek. This will be an "in and out" hike for total of 6.6 miles. Much of the trail will be in the flood plain. Protective clothes, sunglasses, insect repellant, closed toed shoes, and plenty of water. picnic at the halfway point: confluence of magnolia and Lafayette creek. Experience the cool creek water.
The second part is where the change IS: Join the Panhandle Chapter on Saturday June 7, 2025 for a bring your own dinner cookout at the pavilion with our new executive director, Tisha McCombs. there wil be grills going, and you can bring your own food to cook/eat with the Panhandle chapter and welcome our New Executive .
Please meet at the Pine Log State Park Youth Pavilion on LongLeaf Road in Ebro, FL between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. CDT. Sign up for the cookout on the Panhandle Meetup.
