This year, we are organizing a Flutter App Hackathon with one simple goal: build an app that makes life—or exploring—Vienna even better.

The concrete challenges will be revealed shortly before the event. But we can already tell you: It will be very open for your creativity. Little guardrails and lots of creative freedom.

Don't worry if you have never participated in a Hackathon, are new to Flutter or not from Vienna: This event is about creating something enojyable together, meeting other like-minded devs and having a good time!

Together, we can achieve more!
We want to introduce a collaborative aspect so we can learn from each other, have a sparring partner and more fun.
You can team up with your friends beforehand (or use our Discord to find one!). But don't worry if you join solo: we will match you with another single at the start of the event. ;)

Because the Hackathon is on a weekend, we will have the place for ourselves.
As people will be working there again on Monday, let's leave the place according to the Boy Scout Rule: A bit cleaner than we found it ;)

• Will there be food and drinks?
  Yes. We will provide food and drinks for free during the day.
• I have a team already. Can we participate?
  Yes, it is perfectly fine to participate with your friend and form a team.
• I don't have a team yet. Can I participate?
  Yes. No problem. Either you connect and find somebody in our Discord or we will help you find a team. :)
• I am not an experienced Flutter dev. Can I participate?
  Yes! We will try to keep the challenges quite open, so you and your team can decide what you guys make and how challenging it is.
• Is there a signup fee?
  No. We want to keep it low barrier to entry and welcome everybody.
• Can I / my company support this amazing project somehow?
  Glad you asked. ;) We are always looking for sponsors for our events. If you would like to see your company's logo and get a short speaking spot to present your company at the Hackathon or at one of our meetups, we would love to hear from you.
