Chestnuts and Persimmons | Fishburn Park

This location has several chestnut trees, as well as an American persimmon tree that has started to drop ripe fruit. On the ground we'll find plenty of lady's thumb and field garlic. Downhilll from the parking lot is a fresh water mountain spring. There is plenty of parking.

What to bring:
>Something to carry stuff in- a basket, grocery bag, etc
>Clothing appropriate for the weather (It will be cold)
>Some sort of container for water if you want to collect some from the spring (I think it's safe to drink fresh, but you should do your own research and determine if it would be best for you to boil it first.)
