We are a sub-group of the Rocky Mountain AI Interest Group focused on the Fort Collins area.
Our emphasis is on creating an inclusive space and bringing diverse perspectives regarding AI as it affects key facets of the Fort Collins Community, as well as society in general. Whether you are a seasoned AI engineer, or trying to find out what AI even is, we endeavor to create a space where all are welcome.

The rules of the game have changed. According to a recent survey by resume.org, 1 in 3 companies will be handling their hiring entirely with AI in 2026. 56% of companies surveyed are already using it. 57% of companies using AI worry that it screens out qualified candidates, and 50% fear it introduces bias, while 3 in 4 companies allow AI to reject candidates without human oversight. That means autonomous AI agents, and "spray-and-pray" applications that are becoming effectively invisible. If you feel like you're shouting into a void, it’s because the void is now an algorithm.
Join us for a high-impact evening designed to help you reclaim your agency in an AI-driven market. Coming from personal experience of 3 layoffs in 2 years, I (Andres, organizer of Fort Collins AI) understand how hard it is to connect and find work. So this session is about paying it forward!
