Handouts on the Cups Suit! Bring snacks if you'd like.
## 1. The Mirror Spread Practice
Purpose: Develop self-awareness and emotional intelligence through Tarot.
How it works:
- Everyone pulls 3 cards:
1️⃣ What I show to the world
2️⃣ What I hide from the world
3️⃣ What I need to integrate to feel whole - Give everyone 10–15 minutes to journal.
- Then, small groups share insights — focusing on how the cards mirrored inner truths, not fortune-telling.
✨ Takeaway: Builds emotional fluency and confidence in personal reading.

## 🕯️ 2. Elemental Balancing Exercise
Purpose: Deepen understanding of suits and personal energy.
How it works:
- Lay out one card from each suit (Wands = Fire, Cups = Water, Swords = Air, Pentacles = Earth).
- Ask: “Which element feels strongest in my life right now? Which feels depleted?”
- Discuss how to bring balance using those suit energies in daily life.
✨ Takeaway: Strengthens elemental interpretation and self-application of Tarot.
***
Practice Tarot reading with each other. One person reads, the other is the querant. This time we get into pairs, and we take a turn reading for each other!
## 🔮 3. One Card, Many Voices
Purpose: Expand interpretive flexibility.
How it works:
- Draw one random card (same card for everyone).
- Each person must interpret it from a different perspective, such as:
- The querent’s emotional state
- The advice being given
- The obstacle
- The hidden influence
- The spiritual lesson
- Compare answers — notice how the same card transforms with context.
✨ Takeaway: Builds multidimensional understanding and adaptability.

## 🌙 4. The Shadow & Light Exercise
Purpose: Integrate shadow work with card interpretation.
How it works:
- Each person pulls 2 cards:
- Shadow: What part of myself I avoid or suppress
- Light: What can help me heal or integrate it
- Journal or discuss privately in pairs.
✨ Takeaway: Encourages depth, compassion, and grounded spirituality.

## 🪞 5. “Step Into the Card” Meditation
Purpose: Strengthen intuition and symbolism through visualization.
How it works:
- Choose a Major Arcana card.
- Spend 2–3 minutes with eyes closed, imagining you’ve stepped into the scene — what do you see, feel, hear, or sense?
- Afterward, discuss insights — did the experience reveal new details or emotions about the card?
✨ Takeaway: Trains intuitive and sensory reading — excellent for intermediate readers.
Everyone pulls a card for the group reading: What am I taking away from this group today?
