Jake is certified networking professional with an emphasis on data center technologies. He's a tinkerer at heart and loves to build about anything that has a legitimate problem to solve. His background includes programming, IoT through the entire stack (sensors, transport, storage, analysis), containerization, cloud infrastructure (various complex networking scenarios, functions, object storage, etc) as well as compute clusters (ESX/K8S) and storage fabrics (FC/iSCSI,NFS/File/S3). Jake's passion however will always belong in networking: simple on the surface, yet endlessly complex. Creating multiple scalable and stable networks with a focus on day two operations , from spanning-tree tuning to MP-BGP and VXLAN to Calico peering to ToR switches for pod networks, you never run out of interesting projects to work on.
