Free Events for New Adults

This book group focuses on authors and stories that explore diverse and underrepresented voices and experiences.
This month's book is "Hula" by Jasmin 'Iolani Hakes.
A little about the book:
Set in Hilo, Hawai'i, a sweeping saga of tradition, culture, family, history, and connection that unfolds through the lives of three generations of women-- a tale of mothers and daughters, dance and destiny, told in part in the collective voice of a community fighting for its survival.
Books are available at the Main Desk of the Nevins Library for one month before this meeting. New members are always welcome.

Join us on the 50th Anniversary of Jaws to be amazed and terrified all over again!
We’ll have snacks and a big screen. Just like the movie theater, but Free!

Join us for Mocktails and Mayhem as we watch the movie Sinners. Let's head to 1932 in the Mississippi Delta. The film stars Michael B. Jordan in dual roles as criminal twin brothers who return to their hometown to start again where they are confronted by a supernatural evil.

Bring your own dinner to the event. Dress in your favorite 30's attire, and join in on the event. Costumes are welcome, but not required.
