☀️ Summer Hike + Optional Swim at Frensham Great Pond (12–15 km loop walk) 🥾🏞️

Frensham Great Pond is a stunning location, perfect for a summer adventure. This will be primarily a nice and easy 12–15 km loop walk through a mix of sandy trails, open heathland, and beautiful pondside paths. Along the way, expect peaceful scenery, possible wildlife sightings, and the chance to unwind with a swim at the end!

#### 🧺 What to Bring:

• Good hiking shoes for the mixed terrain.
• At least 1 litre of water to stay hydrated.
• A packed lunch to enjoy during a break.
• A good spirit for a fun day out.
• Swimming costume and towel (optional but encouraged!).

#### 🥾 Difficulty and Pace:

This hike will be at a medium pace and involve some gentle hills. It’s suitable for most levels but not ideal for complete beginners.

#### 🍻 Post-Hike Social:

After the walk and optional swim, we’ll head to a local pub nearby to relax, grab a drink, and chat.

• Participants are expected to stay with or behind the hike leader to maintain the group’s pace and ensure those behind can catch up.
• Be respectful to fellow walkers and mindful of your surroundings – let's protect nature and ensure everyone enjoys the day.
