This level is best suited for students who have studied Chinese for at least 1.5 years or have scored 90 or higher on the HSK1 and HSK2 tests. Students should be able to read at least 600 Chinese characters.

Additionally, knowledge of how to type in Chinese and read characters is necessary. While writing ability is not mandatory, it is strongly preferred.

Although this class is accessible for conversationally fluent students, it may be challenging for those who do not read or write Chinese characters.
