About the Session:Hatha Yoga - Effort & Ease

This is a gentle, beginner-friendly Hatha yoga class designed to help you move slowly, breathe with intention, and feel grounded in your body.

What is Hatha yoga -Effort & Ease

Hatha yoga is traditionally described as the union of two energies - the activating quality of heat and the calming quality of coolness.
In this practice, we explore the space between effort and ease.

We don’t push, and we don’t collapse.
We move slowly enough to feel where the body naturally lands, and we use the breath to guide us into balance.

Today is about learning how to meet each shape with steadiness and softness at the same time.
The sequence will be slow, grounding, and supportive - ideal for beginners or anyone wanting a calm, clear start to the day.

We’ll warm up gently, move through simple stabilising shapes, then finish with a short rest to integrate.
No experience is needed. You’re welcome exactly as you are.

What to Bring

• A yoga mat
• A blanket or warm layer
• Comfortable clothes
• Optional cushion for extra comfort
(If you forget a mat, still come - I’ll have a couple of extras 😊)

Please Rsvp if you know you are coming. If you haven’t RSVP’d and want to join last minute, please feel welcome. The group is relaxed and friendly.

Starting Setup

We begin at 800am.
Arriving a few minutes early helps you land, get settled, and start the morning slowly.

No stress at all.
Just join quietly whenever you arrive - you won’t interrupt the class 😊.

I am also running a meditation session at 9am after Hatha yoga finishes. If you would like to come to both please click attending in the meditation session too 🙏😊
