SUMMER END SLAM - Team Competition Pickleball Tournament

PICKLEBALL NETWORK PRESENTING:

Hello PICKLEBALL Players in Southern California!

We are planning out First MLP Style Pickleball Team Competition.

There will be 6 Teams representing LA and OC areas.

Each team consists of a Captain and players.

Captains are responsible for recruiting the best players for their Region based teams. Each team will be represented by region and a team names will be announced soon.

Teams and Captains are as follows (Each Team will have minimum of 8 players):

1. "OC Coast Beach Bombers" Team: Peter N

2. Irvine: Greg L

3. "Net-Flick & Chill" Team : Nick N

4. Rowland Heights, Chino Hills, DB, Indland Emp: Justin H

5. Fullerton, Anaheim, Yorba Linda: Jason K

6. "Laguna Hell"Team: Katherine

Competition Format: Each team will be playing the other 5 teams and top two scoring teams will meet at the final battle match. Men double, Women double, two mixed double, single play as a tie breaker.
Each game will be win by 1 to 11.

Date: Sept 14th.

Prize: The Final Winner Team will be receiving winning medals and prizes.

Location: ID Sports Indoor PB courts in Irvine.

Cost: There will be costs to participate in the competition. Exact cost is TBD, but expect each player pay to be around $20.

Uniforms: Each team will have a distinct clothing style, Captains will determine the style.

RSVP Instruction: RSVP For this posting will be for those with 3.5 to 4.25 Pickleball skills ratings. Once you have made your RSVP, each captain will be making their player selections. When you RSVP, please be sure to specify your city of residence and your pickleball skill level. Captain will be completing the player recruiting/selection in the next two weeks. Each captain will be contacting you for a possible recruitment.
Each Player will be oompleting the liability forms.

AUGUST >>> Friendly weekly matches between Teams, Captains will be setting up these matches.
Sept >>> Final preparation and Competition
