WHAT'S HAPPENING?
The white elephant gift exchange begins strictly at 8pm. Check this link for the rules we will be using. To keep things moving along and depending on the amount of people in attendance, either the 2 swap rule or the 3 swap rule will be used. A suggested maximum gift value is $40. Suggested to get something a nerdy hobbyist would enjoy. A gift is mandatory to participate in the exchange, but not mandatory to play in the other games. New people are allowed only if they have appeared in at least one of our group events or are a guest.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU?
Potluck style. Whatever you bring. Hopefully something to warm the bones
WHAT WILL WE BE DOING BEFORE THE MAIN EVENT?
There will be 2-3 tables for board games (dining room & living room) and maybe some jackbox TV for an extra cozy winter night indoors. The board game selection here is small, so please bring your favorite games with you if you wish to play anything in particular. The home is on the smaller side, so large player games that require minimal table space is suggested.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
I will send the address and a parking helper photo to your inbox about a week before the event. Please park in the highlighted areas if possible so I can keep the neighbors (who often use all their curbside parking) happy.
WILL THERE BE ACTUAL ANIMALS?
A cat named Cat will be roaming the home and a new puppy friend, Olivia, will be present and looking for attention anywhere she can get it.
