Naples Holiday Lights Walk – Festive Stroll Through the Canals
Saturday, December 20 · 7:00 PM
Meeting Point: The fountain at the center of 90 Corinthian Walk, Long Beach, CA 90803

Details
Join the Fullerton Hiking Club for a special holiday walk through the Naples canals to enjoy the holiday lights!! This seasonal tradition is one of the most beautiful ways to experience the holidays in Southern California. Expect a relaxed, enjoyable evening surrounded by decorated waterfront homes, sparkling canals, and the festive atmosphere that makes Naples so popular at this time of year.

This is an easy walk, not a hike. The full route is about 1.2 miles and usually takes 45 minutes to 1 hour at a comfortable pace with brief stops to enjoy the displays. We will walk the canal path, cross bridges as needed, and follow the route shown in the image above. You are welcome to pause for photos or treats, but the group will continue moving steadily together.

Arrival and Timing
The walk will begin at 7:00 PM sharp. Please plan to meet at the fountain by 6:55 PM so we can organize the group before starting.

Parking will be extremely limited, as this is one of the busiest weekends of the Naples lights season. I recommend arriving between 6:00 and 6:15 PM to allow enough time to park and walk in. The group will only wait until 7:00 PM.

Parking Information
Parking is your responsibility, and it will be challenging due to holiday crowds.

A recommended option is to park in the residential neighborhoods across the street from the main Naples canals area, near these coordinates: 33.75921, -118.1265. This is along Sorrento Drive and nearby streets. From this area, expect a 10 to 15 minute walk to the fountain meeting point.

You may also explore additional street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods, but please give yourself plenty of time.

What to Expect
-Distance: approximately 1.2 miles
-Pace: relaxed and easy
-Dogs are allowed
-No restrooms provided
-Vendors often sell hot cocoa, snacks, and holiday treats along the route
-Wear comfortable walking shoes and feel free to dress in festive holiday attire
