What we’re about
Anything goes, to movies, sport, travel, sightsee, visit museums etc. All ages are welcome. Feel free to come up with any meet up ideas. Happy for people to organise events as well. Just message me and will make you an organiser
I don't make it compulsory to provide a photo of yourself. But prior to a meetup you attend, it is mandatory to send a photo of yourself to your host or introduce yourself to your host at the meetup. If not, you will be assumed as if you belong to another group and will be left behind.
This group is purely for having fun, meeting people and making friends. This group, organizers, hosts, accept no liability for anyone at a meetup. If you aren't comfortable with an activity, you aren't forced into it.
This is just for capped meetups for now. Keeping your RSVP up to date is your responsibility. This also ensures people on the wait list can have a chance if you cant make it. If you RSVP yes more than 24 hours before the event(this includes coming off the wait list. You put yourself on the wait list, it is your responsibility to check for updates and make adjustment if needed) and you fail to show without a valid reason. You will be marked as a no show. If you are marked as a no show for an event, once a future activity is filled up, you will be kept on the wait list for future events. You will only come off if a current host/organizer feel there is good chance other people on the wait list can make it to the event. How each host/organizer approaches this is to their discretion,
A note to people trying to sell products/services to the group. Organizers will only take interest if there is a long term benefit to members like providing discounts if they mention this group. Also it would be a good idea if you organized the event yourself within the group.
NOTE : this is an active group. lots of activities. comes with it are dozens of emails and reminders. If you don't appreciate so many emails, go to the top right hand screen, click on your profile, then click on emails and notifications. There you can control how many emails you recieve.
Upcoming events (4+)
See all- Ghost house trailYanchep National Park, Perth
Thought we could walk the ghost house trail at Yanchep. This is an overall 12 km walk. Then afterwards we can have lunch/drink at the pub. With the option of a BBQ as well. We meet at the information centre at 8:30am and move approx 9am
Make sure you bring a hat, sun cream and plenty of water. There is a rest point at the half way mark, so we can stop and have a break. Although there are no shops there, so you will need to bring your own food.
There is a $17 fee per car. If there is no one at the gate, there is an honesty box. They have cameras and know if you haven't paid the fee.
If you are going to national parks regularly, it may pay to get a park pass by going to this address
[Park Passes – WA Naturally (dbca.wa.gov.au)](https://shop.dbca.wa.gov.au/collections/park-passes)
If you buy yours through RAC, you only pay half priceNOTE: if you are travelling north along Wanneroo Rd, the entrance is around 500 metres on your left going past Yanchep Beach Rd
NOTE: if there is rain forecast, the walk will still go ahead, unless in the event there is frequent heavy showers or the rain will affect the safety of the walk depending on the track chosen. So make sure you have wet weather gear handy just in case!
