What we’re about
If you are looking to dine out, go to comedy shows, live music events, festivals, farmers markets, regular hikes with and without dogs, explore parks and museums, while expanding your social circle and making friends, this group is for you.
Our focus is mostly Marin County and San Francisco, but will also include events in surrounding counties.
We are a mix of newcomers to Marin, women starting a new life chapter, and women who have lived in the area a long time.
We will try to make events for larger groups so everyone that wants to attend gets a chance!
If you have a good idea for an event - either a one time or regular activity, please contact me. It will take many hosts to make this group fun and interesting with diverse activities. I hope that you will meet new friends with women that share similar interests and interesting women that also want to see more of what this beautiful area has to offer and attend events that just aren’t quite as fun attending alone.
*Please make sure to have a photo of yourself to your profile.
*New hosts must attend at least one event to be verified.
*Remember that you are responsible for your own comfort and safety.
*Please add your input on fun ideas to the message board thread!

Tainted Love
The Best of the 80’s Live
For 2 decades TAINTED LOVE has been thrilling audiences across the country with their high-energy, over-the-top renditions from the treasure trove of pop music known as the 1980’s. Their show delivers something for every fan of music: pulsing dance beats, fist-pumping rock anthems, and guilty-pleasure sing-alongs, all performed with the highest level of musicianship and state-of-the-art sound and lighting.
Mustache Harbor
Yacht Rock Forever!
For over a decade, MUSTACHE HARBOR has been thrilling audiences across the country with their spot-on renditions of the smoothest music from the 1970s and 80s, all performed with the highest level of musicianship and state-of-the-art sound and lighting. - Full Moon Gratitude Ceremony and Shamanic ClassChristine’s House, Corte Madera, CAUSD 10.00
Welcome back! After our summer pause, I’m so delighted to be back in circle with you.
Every full moon is an exceptional opportunity to express gratitude for all that was, is, will be. One way to do this is by creating a beautiful mandala, called a despacho in Peruvian shamanism.
A despacho is a lovely way to express thanks for all that is, was, will be. When we honor sacred reciprocity, we open our energy field and drop into more alignment with the natural world, more internal peace, more lasting foundational joy, and more clarity on divine guidance.
We will layer items from the natural world like flowers, leaves, shells, feathers, into a beautiful pattern and then burn it, offering our hopes, dreams and blessings for the greatest good of all.
*** Note: I’ve decided to charge a $10 fee to defray costs and eliminate no shows. Prior to the event please pay using the Venmo link or Zelle info to RSVP and secure your spot:
https://account.venmo.com/u/ChristineComaford
or via Zelle at CC@SmartTribesInstitute.comPlease write in the payment notes what you will bring for the potluck.
A potluck dinner will follow the ceremony. We will gather at 5pm, then hold the ceremony and training, burn the despacho, and have a potluck feast! I will provide a yummy salad bar, bring what inspires you. Your intuition will tell you what is needed.
Come as you are, bring offerings of:
Animal products (shells, feathers, fur, etc)
Plant products
Stones, gravel
Incense
Flowers
All offerings need to be smallish (the size of your thumb or so) and remember you won’t get them back. We will put them in the despacho that we will burn.***Again to RSVP, pay via Venmo or Zelle. ***
Looking forward to sharing this experience with you!
