Coffee to Cocktails Beach walk

So you want to get some exercise but also celebrate the holiday weekend? Let's meet for coffee-to-go on the patio at the lovely Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach, then walk across to the beach path and head down to the Newport Beach bridge, then back to the Huntington Beach House for a cheeky afternoon cocktail - or whatever you like.

Should be about 5 miles of easy walking and good conversation with friends! And feel free to bust out the Red White and Blue for Memorial Day Weekend!!

We'll meet at 9:30 on the patio of the Hyatt outside the hotel grocery and restaurants facing the ocean. The little grocery has a nice Coffee shop and breakfast items, or feel free to bring your own. If you walk across the hotel pedestrian bridge to the hotel from the beach, go to the left once you reach the building. If you come from the hotel entrance on the back street, go through the lobby to the patio and turn right.

Parking can be found on side streets a block or two back from the beach if you don't want to pay for parking in a beach lot or at the hotel. Try Atlanta Ave. There is also a shopping center with restaurants on Atlanta.

Once everyone has arrived and is ready to go, we'll start the walk south to the Santa Ana river bridge and then back to the Huntington Beach House for a celebratory drink and potentially a bite to eat. There may even be a DJ playing already since it's a holiday weekend.
