Expats in Essen Meetup - Parkleuchten Grugapark/Rüttenscheid drinks

Come join us for a cozy winter evening at Parkleuchten in Grugapark ✨🌳
We’ll meet at the main entrance of Grugapark at 18:30, stroll through the illuminated park together, enjoy the atmosphere, and then head to Rüttenscheid for drinks.
🕡 Meeting time: 18:30
📍 Meeting point: Grugapark – main entrance
🚶 Around 20:00: we walk together to the next spot (Rüttenscheider Straße)
🍺 Plan after: most likely the Irish Pub or a similar cozy place
Tickets:
🎟️ Everyone buys their own Grugapark ticket
– Annual ticket: 35€ (with existing annual ticket it's free entry for the Parkleuchten)
– One-time entry: 9€

Feel free to bring a drink for the walk if you like, or grab something inside the park or later in Rüttenscheid 🍷☕

We kindly ask for a 1 € organisation fee to help cover Meetup-related costs and to support the organisers.
In the past (e.g. at Café Nord), drinks and costs were repeatedly covered by the organisers themselves, and this small contribution helps keep the meetups sustainable and fair for everyone. Thank you for your understanding 🙏
None of this is super formal – the idea is simply to hang out, walk, chat, and have a good time.
Most of us will be speaking English, but there will also be German speakers (Eva and I included 🙂), so no pressure at all.
