🤗Welcome to FMEC（Funabashi Multilinguals English Club）!!
FMEC is a friendly local community for people who love learning languages and are interested in life and culture from around the globe!
We usually meet at a community center near JR Funabashi station and Keisei-Funabashi station.
📍Since 31st of October, 2025, we have temporarily moved to a community center near JR Tsudanuma station.
Native English speakers often join our English sessions, making it easy to connect and interact with people from other countries.
Regardless of your nationality or English level, you are welcome to join us and enjoy fun, friendly conversations with open-minded people.

👤What the FMEC is like
- Native English speakers join almost every English session.

(Currently meeting at a venue just 3-minute walk from JR Tsudanuma station)

📍2025年10月31日より、JR津田沼駅近くの公民館へ会場を一時移転中。
英語ネイティブも参加しており、気軽に国際交流を楽しむことができます。

On Friday night every other week, FMEC hosts face-to-face meetings to practice English speaking. During the meetings, you interact with a lot of English learners and native English speakers!!
📚Course Introduction: English Free Talk
You can talk about any topics in English. Attendees are divided into groups of 3 or 4 at random, and all the groups are changed every 20 minutes. In addition, the staff show you a topic in case you run out of topics in a group talk.
＜Topic for the meeting＞
To be announced 1 week prior to the event.The club hosts a 🍻dinner party🍴 after each of face-to-face meetings, so please enjoy yourself and socialize with other attendees!
💰Participation Fee
Non-native English speakers: 500 JPY
Native English speakers and staff: FreeWe do NOT have any change you can get back.
