The amazing claddagh choir who I have seen a few times as one of the many beautiful choirs singing at this free event. Any donation given will be given to the charity The Galway Simon Commnunity. I’d advise to book a ticket early as it will book out fast.

Join us for a breathtaking evening of choral and orchestral music at Galway Cathedral on Friday, June 6th at 8:00 PM, as Claddagh Choral and Perform International presents Hagenburg's “Illuminare” and other iconic choral works for what will be the largest choral performance ever in the Galway Cathedral.
This landmark event will feature 184 singers from touring choirs across the United States, joined by the 18-piece Galway City Orchestra, conducted by the acclaimed American maestro Dr. Craig Zamer.
The concert includes a moving selection of choral works, centered around Illuminare and other masterful pieces by Composer-in-Residence Elaine Hagenberg, brought to life by an ensemble of international voices and instrumentalists.
