"The Outsiders" - Little Theater of Gastonia

I am so excited to be able to schedule this event! "The Outsiders" is a bonus show being offered by the Little Theater of Gastonia. The show is being put on by students in the drama classes offered by the theater. EVERYONE is familiar with "The Outsiders." You either read the novel by S.E. Hinton when you were in school...your children (or your grandchildren) read this book. You may have seen the movie. And...it is currently touring as a musical. Wow! It is the quintessential book about adolescence. Remember Ponyboy??? It's a coming of age story about a working-class gang from Tulsa, Oklahoma's poor East Side, who clash with the wealthy West Side gang. You have got to join us for this event.

So...the show is for two nights only and the Saturday show is almost sold out, so I went ahead and purchased 7 tickets with seats together for the Saturday performance. It's one of the "pay what you can" events and I figured we could pay $10 for each ticket. Money from ticket sales go back into future classes for costumes, scholarships, and rights to produce these plays. Supporting local, right? Please don't disappoint me. Sure, it's a student led performance, but the story is so important. It's definitely going to be worth the price of $10 per ticket. The Little Theater of Gastonia is a very small venue. Our seats are together about midway between the stage and the rear of the theater. Doors open at 6. Show starts at 6:30. IYKYK..."stay gold."
