Trail Conditions & Preparation
• Please check recent trip reports on WTA or AllTrails before heading out for the most current conditions.
• Navigation: Please download the Alltrails map on your phone, or download Gaia GPS or a similar app. Be ready to navigate via GPS without cell connection, as coverage in the mountains is sporadic at best.
• Gear: Wear comfortable, water-resistant hiking boots. Bring hiking sticks and microspikes (highly recommended given the time of year), along with adequate water and food for the day.
We will hike rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed dangerous. I will monitor the forecast and confirm plans by Friday evening.
Transportation & Carpooling
We will meet at the trailhead, but carpooling is highly encouraged to manage parking.

Parking is off the paved road and is sedan-accessible. Please bring your Discovery Pass, Northwest Forest Pass, or America the Beautiful Pass.
