Welcome to Gay Gatherings Ghent ! This group is created for gay MEN in and around Ghent to connect with each other in an informal way. Our goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment where we can engage in activities together, such as grabbing a drink, attending an event, making a daytrip or simply meeting up for a friendly gathering.

'PinX Queer Filmfestival Ghent' - PILLION

From January 27 until february 1 it's PinX LGBTQIA+ filmfestival again at cinema Sphinx in Ghent!

We're meeting each other on the closing day of the festival on sunday february 1 at 19.30 at Sphinx cinema (next to Mc Donalds, Korenmarkt).

Movie: 'PILLION' - tender and funny drama about an aimless boy who meets a handsome biker, and his queer BDSM biker gang. Starring Alexander Skarsgard!

Price should be around 12 EUR.

Fine Arts Museum Ghent - guided tour of the queer collection!

Hi gays,

On sunday february 15th, we will visit the MSK (Museum voor Schone Kunsten Gent - Museum of Fine Arts Ghent).

A guide will take us on a 1.30h tour through the LGBTQ collection of the museum. Using 11 artworks, we will reflect on the queer history that literally hangs on the walls, yet has never been told before. We will see how gender identity and sexual orientation were approached in the past, and we will reflect on how we view them today.

After, we might go for drinks and who knows maybe dinner!

IMPORTANT:
We're meeting at 14.15h at the entrance of the museum.

Price: the museum will change rates next year, so we don't have the actual information yet. We will update this page as soon as we have the information. Expect something between 10 and 20 EUR

Queer Quest Ghent - 'Helping Robin Out Of The Closet'

Hi everyone!

Did you know that in March it's 'Queer March Ghent'? Queer March is a grassroots initiative by and for queer people, uniting Ghent’s queer community for a March full of activities.

Gay Gatherings Ghent is also participating by organizing a fun Queer Quest through the city, starting at Citadelpark and ending at .... :-)

This is what you need to know:
- Meeting at 1.45PM at Citadelpark (Kiosk), ending somewhere downtown
- Maximum 4 teams with 4 to 6 people each team.
- Each team receives a fun booklet guide and tote bag with necessary stuff to complete the quest!

REGISTRATION PROCES
- Register yourself and choose 'add guests' if you want to register your entire team. (max. 5 guests + yourself = 6, the maximum for a team)
- Alone? Don't worry! Just register yourself and we'll help putting the teams together later. There will always be a solution :-)
- Please register before march 10!

SING BITCH! - Karaoke at SingCity Gent

Hello singers!

On thursday april 16 it's time for another karaoke gathering! We've learned from the past, so this time we will rent a big private box at SingCity (near Kinepolis). This way we can sing our hearts out for 2 hours and you won't need to wait long for your turn!

This is what you need to know:
- The box has a capacity of max. 30 people
- Price depends on the number of participants
- We're meeting at 7.45PM in the lobby of SingCity
- Register your presence before march 30
- Address: Ter Platen 13, 9000 Gent (in the building of Kinepolis)
