The largest and brightest Supermoon since 1948!

This month's super moon will be closer than it has been since 1948, and it will take another 9 years for that to be exceeded again! Come join us to see and photograph the rising moon. Forecast is for some clouds, but the moon is 30% brighter than a mini moon, it might well shine through clouds.

Our foreground target is the water tower in Hull, it is 3 miles away. A 400-600mm lens will work well, but you can also use 200mm and crop in.

The moon will rise 30 minutes after sunset, we wont see it until about 45 past sunset. After the moonrise, you can take photos of the neighboring island or Boston skyline using the same long lens.

Forecast has us at 45 degrees, 10% clouds and quite a bit of wind.
