Steps & Sounds by the Barwon River

Sunday 8th June 11am for a prompt 11:15am start

Join Nikki and I for a picturesque 11km walk meandering along the banks of the Barwon River, finishing at The Door Gallery Café, where we can relax and enjoy some live music, food and drinks.

We will walk along Lower Paper Mill Road, past quaint cottages onto the path where we will commence a 10km loop – this takes us along the banks of the Barwon, past the Fyansford Pub, to Balyang Sanctuary. We will then cross over the river and head back past Queens Park to the café, in time to sit and relax to some live music, enjoy great company, food and drinks.
The walk will take approximately 2-2.30 hrs.

This is a relatively flat walk and follows well formed path. You will still require good footwear 1 litre of water and sun protection. This is a popular location and so we may be sitting at outside tables, so please dress with that in mind. We recommend that you bring some cash with you, the eftpos can be temperamental at the Gallery.
