A circular walk from Dalgety Bay Railway Station to St Bridget's Kirk via Fordell & Letham Hill

The walk starts at the Dalgety Bay Railway Station proceeding to the Fordell Estate which is currently rich in Rhododendron blossom. We then pass an impressive spring at the back of Fordell Castle continuing to Letham Hill and the Fife Coastal Path via Prestonhill Quarry.
A picnic lunch is proposed by Downing Point then following the path to St Bridget's and returning to the Railway Station.
There will be the option of having coffee at Hugos Bistro at the end of the walk
Participants should bring a small rucksack or similar with a snack lunch and liquid refreshment. Walking boots or firm footwear are recommended together with light waterproofs.
Travellers from Edinburgh can take the 10-03 train from Waverley arriving at Dalgety Bay at 10-30.
There are toilets at the BP Petrol Station opposite the Railway Station CP & at Hugo’s at the end of the walk.
