Social Bike Tour | SW | Amsterdamse Bos

We’re kicking off the 2026 Social Bike Tour season with a ride through the Amsterdamse Bos! Saturday, March 21st, we’re expecting the cherry blossoms to be in full bloom, perfect timing for the start of this season!

I’ll be at Screaming Beans, Waterlooplein by 10:00 AM and we’ll hop on our bikes around 10:30 AM to pedal our way to the Amsterdamse Bos.

The route is about 30+ kilometers, ideal for soaking up those spring vibes. Bring some snacks, drinks and lunch along, as we’ll be enjoying an extensive picnic among the cherry blossoms (or nearby). There’s also a chance to visit a supermarket if needed.

Just bring your regular bike; we’ll be cruising at a relaxed pace, enjoying the beauty of Amsterdam while keeping an eye on traffic and each other. Plenty of time to chat and socialize!

I expect we’ll wrap up the ride before 4:00 PM. Sometimes we’ll end the day together with a drink on a terrace, and sometimes everyone heads home right away, we’ll see how things roll!

Since I cover costs for my Meetup membership, spend time planning the routes,l and just want to keep my bike hobby rolling, I ask for a small contribution of €5 to join (usually via Tikkie). Of course, you’ll get a refund if the tour gets canceled for any reason.
