Fortunes Cove Loop, little over 4 miles moderate hike

Fortune’s Cove provides two loops that reward hikers with stunning mountain vistas. We will be doing Lower Loop (or White Trail) . As the trail gains elevation 865 feet, increasingly steep inclines, which is a moderate hike. Reaching the upper Ridgeline is rewarded with breathtaking unobstructed views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the rolling hills of Nelson County. Overlooks along the way provide perfect rest spots to enjoy the scenery and snap photos.
