A tour of Old Town sites connected to Scotland's most famous poet Robert Burns. It covers where he first stayed (beside a brothel), where he said goodbye to a lover that inspired one of his most famous poems, places where he drank, sat with his publisher and was inducted into a historic masonic lodge, etc. He was a bad, bad boy at times (I'll try and read out some of his really rude ones...) but at least he was interesting...suggest £2 donation a head for charity if you can manage it (Maggie's Cancer trust is the usual one, but if someone has a personal charity they are linked to, DM me and perhaps do a split). I haven't done this walk before with a group, so it starts in Grassmarket, up the Royal Mile, and down to Canongate - not very long distance-wise - suspect about 2.5 hours, but bit finger in the air...
