(M) The Rebooters: Caesars Head SP - Silver Steps Trail

“The Rebooters” is a GNHA group that hikes on Saturdays or Sundays. If you are completely new to hiking, getting back into hiking after being off the trails for a while, or need an assessment hike to check your capabilities, then grab those boots and “reboot” - this is the hike for you!
Although hike distance, elevation gain and pace may vary, hikes in this group will be on the easy to moderate levels with low mileage.

Description . Silver Steps is the connection trail to Jones Gap trail outside of Caesars Head SP.
We will hike to Dargans Cascade for a snack and return same way. There are several small water crossings with bridges. One bridge is a sawed off log with no hand railing which adds to the adventure; however, the creek can be waded across - I cross the stream! There is some elevation coming back.

We walk along water most of the way which makes this hike a serene journey.

Form carpools at Publix supermarket across from Mr. Salsa Restaurant at 10:45 am. Depart properly at 11:00 am.
